I first met Bates in Norway in '99 on the Scandinavian COD tour. I had first seen his stuff from a mutual friend and crew member of ours Raide (Goal AIO) in '95. Bates all around style is next to none. Bates is a big influence of mine when it comes to letters. He was there when I was first getting more letter style focused and was cool enough to show me a few tricks. It is an honor to be crew mates and down with such a cool cat.

Yo Persue, that blackbook outline looks like a silver piece! Imma bust it out here in cold Europe. By this time its winter and way too cold to rock full color pieces...But I am gonna try and stay close to your outline eventhough I wanted to change a few things,the style is funky. I think I can make it work!
