I really dig the step by step process of the outline. I will do my best to get the steps down and possibly build off of the outlines. I am going to have fun playing around with the uncanny 3d's .. The R' is definitely my favorite letter.. word!
This wall was done during a little night mission along the LA river . I printed out steps 1 and 2 from the above sketches and left for the wall. I am now regretting not bringing step 3 with me to the wall. Since this was a night spot I did not have the time to experiment with the piece and punch up the detail.
I spent most of my time sketching the piece on the wall.. Once I had the first sketch drawn on the wall it was all easy from there. I tried as best as I could to remain true to the outlines given to me. I took Kacao's sketches as an artistic exercise. This style is by far a style that I am not accustomed to doing. I am glad to have had the chance to step into another writers shoes and approach a wall from another point of view... Rock on'
